How to stretch out a 100% Acrylic sweater??? best answer 10 points!!!!?
My aunt bought me a beautiful dark purple Acrylic sweater for my birthday and i was stupid and i ripped off all the tags before i even tried it on she got me a small and i need a large but she lost the receipt and it was the last one in Aeropastale (clearance item) but i already ripped the sweater twice!!! and had to sew it back together because i tried to stretch it out!! so is there anyway else? Thank You for reading!

From what you have said, I think the sweater is done for. Acrylic yarn is non-shrinking; if anything, after months or years of wear, it will stretch out naturally.
