Can i wear a tight fitted skirt with high top converse? Will it look right?
I have a black skirt that stops at my knees and black high top converse will that look right ?
In my opinion converses and sneaker should only be worn with jeans, pants, trousers, shorts, etc. Skirts have a different quality to them, they’re more feminine and gentle and converses just don’t fit in the picture.
I would definitely prefer you to wear sandals, flats, heeled pumps, classic heels, and heeled boots. However if you’re going for a quirky new fashion style then I suppose you could try mixing the two items.
Some good skirts are high waisted ones, tube skirts, the mini, pencil skirts and the typical a-line.
My personal best would be to wear a:
- tube skirt with heeled pumps
- a floral high-waist with wedge heels.
- a slightly short, flirty skirt with gladiator sandals
