Is it normal for a tattoo to go numb?
Iv had the tattoo for 3 months, Im an apprentice for tattooing but I have never had a question or experience like this. The tattoo I have is of an old Sailor Jerry collins tattoo a spanish girl good tribute, fully shaded and colored. its been healed for over 3 months now.
When I rest on my arm the entire tattoo goes numb and doesn't return feeling until i move my arm and rub it, Iv never had this problem before the tattoo. So I really don't know what it could be, I asked my boss but I never got an answer. Could it just be the tattoos like scar design cutting off the blood to the skin? Or is it something else, It doesn't happen on any other tattoo I have and im half sleeved on my other arm.
So does anyone know if this is normal or what is causing it? I searched couldn't find anything on it.
