Radog 2007 Arroyo Seco Syrah (woot)

Radog: fine by itself, better when paired with a mascot.
No, I understand your limited marketing approach here. After all, this 2007
Radog Syrah basically sells itself. I mean, it’s perfectly balanced, smoky,
and has some nice earthy white pepper notes. What’s not to love? I just think
you might be able to move even more bottles with a mascot!
That’s why I’ve worked up this preliminary sketch. Introducing the Radog Rad
Dog! Note the earring, the tattoo of a grape vine, and the Oakleys! Are they
real Oakleys or imitations? You never know with a crazy guy like Rad Dog!
I also put together a few sketches to show him in action! Here he is just
standing outside the vineyard smoking a cigarette next to a No Smoking sign!
Can you say rebel? And here, in this one, he’s riding past some French barrels
on a skateboard. Notice that he’s wearing a Hawaiian shirt and cut-off jeans,
even though the calendar in the background clearly says “Thursday,” meaning
it’s definitely not Casual Friday! Dress code, shmess code! Rad Dog gonna wear
what he digs!
